Dr. Brian Hiroshi Lum was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He relocated to Los Angeles to attend Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors in December 1999. He was the exclusive recipient of the Dr. Herbert Magee Jr. Technique Award.



Dr. Lum is a Sports Chiropractor and the owner of Nu Image Now Wellness Center. He began his chiropractic practice in December 1999 when he rented loft space in a small gym in Long Beach. In 2006, Dr. Lum along with two partners, opened a fitness gym, the Signal Hill Athletic Center (SHAC), where he ran his chiropractic practice, Nu Image Now Wellness Center. In 2010, Dr. Lum opened a satellite office in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach. In 2011, Nu Image Now Wellness Center bought out Dr. Lum's SHAC partners. In May of 2012, Nu Image Now Wellness Center relocated to it's current 16,000sq ft. facility at 3351 E. Hill Street. With the opening of the new facility, Dr. Lum realized his longtime dream of having an all-encompassing wellness center.

Dr. Lum's focus is to provide quality care with an emphasis on preventative measures and patient education. His approach is aggressive and safe but more importantly effective. He has successfully treated many patients from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete. Dr. Lum incorporates physical therapy along with chiropractic therapy to achieve immediate results. Dr. Lum is skilled in many techniques, such as mobilizing, adjusting, realigning, strengthening, stretching, and stabilizing, which he utilizes to treat the affected bony and soft tissue components of the spine as well as the upper and lower extremities.
